Ingredients: butter, honey, cinnamon, dried berries, brown sugar, quick oats, and rice krispies
in a sauce pan combine the butter, honey and brown sugar. stir till butter is melted
let simmer until sugar is dissolved
remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon, dried berries, rice krispies and oats
place in a 11*7 pan with greased parchment paper or foil.
spread and press firmly. let sit for about 15-20 minutes
cut into bars
Recipe:
4 Tb butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey

Homemade Bagels
Ingredients: yeast, flour, salt, vegetable oil, sugar, and warm water
mix all the ingredients in a bowl- dough should be stiff but if you cant get all the flour incorporated then add more warm water
knead the dough on a floured surface, for about 10 minutes until uniform and smooth.
divide the dough let rest for 10-20 minutes
make a hole in the center then let rest for another 20 minutes
preheat oven and boil a pot of water. add the bagels to the boilling water for one minute
allow bagels to dry for a minute or two then place on the greased baking tray
bake for 10 minutes then flip the bagels and bake for another ten minutes
allow them to cool
Recipe:
4 cups flour
1 Tb sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 Tb vegetable oil
2 tsp instant yeast
1 1/4- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Directions:
mix all the ingredients together- dough should be sftii but if all the flour cant be incorporated add more warm water.
knead the dough for about 10 minutes then divide the dough in balls and let rest for about 10 -20 minutes.
preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a cooking sheet.
roll the dough in a bagel shape and make a hole in the center. let rest for another 20 minutes.
Bring a pot of water to a boil.
boil the bagels for about a minute or two the allow then to dry of a couple of minutes then place on the cooking try. Bake for 10 minutes then flip the bagels and bake for another 10 minues. Let cool
French Toast
crack desired amount of eggs into a bowl
whisk egg and milk together with a fork
dip each piece of bread into the mixture
allow the bread to cook
when the underside of the bread has browned flip over once.
combine the cinnamon and powdered sugar
once the bread is browned on both sides, place on a plate and serve with powdered sugar mixture and syrup.
Recipe: (for 1-2 people)
about three peices of bread.
2 eggs
about four tablespoons of milk, add more if needed
enough butter to coat the skillet
for every teaspoon of cinnamon, about four tablespoons of powdered sugar
syrup if wanted
Directions:
Cut the bread diagonally across, in a bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together with a fork. Heat the skillet and melt the butter. Dip each peice of bread into the egg mixture then place on the skillet. Let the bread cook, once the underside is browned flip over and cook the other side. Remove from heat and place on a serving plate. Combine the cinnamon and powdered sugar and sprinkle over the toast. Serve with syrup if desired or carmelized bannanas.
With left over egg mixture, dip more bread to use it up. Make sure to put more butter on the skillet each time and new batch is made.
